At Design's by TamLynn, we pride ourselves on creating handcrafted designer purses that cater to all ages, from children to adults. Each piece is made with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that you receive a unique accessory that stands out.
I started making the purses because I needed something to help my nerves. I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia the week before Christmas. Now I am on chemotherapy pills every day and I sew to distract myself from the nausea, and pain, so sewing is my coping mechanism.
With my jewelry I started that after I got hurt at work in 2007 and had a lot of down time. Had to keep myself busy at least my hands. The beading helped me concentrate on the designing and not the pain from the multiple surgeries. And then I was able to get into a major beading competition. Battle of the BeadSmiths, a wonderful chance to create the designs in my head that were so extravagant and different. What started out 256 bead artists from around the world in a competition that brings out the imagination of our wildest dreams.
